Hat Trick For Hennig In Shutout Win










RED HOOK – Ten games in the books for the Red Hook High School girls soccer team, and 10 victories.

The Raiders got the hat trick from Grace Hennig and overpowered Marlboro on Thursday, 9-1, in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League Division II Game played at Red Hook.

Hennig scored in the second, sixth and 38th minute in the first half to spark Red Hook.

Samarra Fernandez scored twice for the Raiders, while Kelcie Horst, Samantha Riley, Casey Shein and Leah Lipke all tallied once. For Fernandez, the first of her two goals was also the first of her varsity career.

Stephanie Petrie had an unassisted goal for the Dukes.
