CHECK OUT ARMY’S NEW LAX FACILITY

Men’s And Women’s Teams Officially Move Into The FEN Lacrosse Center

WEST POINT – Both the men’s and women’s lacrosse programs at the United States Military Academy at West Point have officially moved into the new Foley, Enners, Nathe Lacrosse Center.

And boy, is it a beauty.

The FEN Lacrosse Center is named after former classmates William Foley ’67, Lt. Ray Enners ’67 and Michael Nathe ’67.

“We are so fortunate to call the new FEN Center the home of Army men’s and women’s lacrosse,” said Women’s Lacrosse Coach Kristen Skiera. “The attention to detail within the building and the location in the corner of Michie Stadium shows immense dedication to Army Lacrosse. This top-notch facility will serve our cadet-athletes in so many ways and undoubtedly contribute to the tradition of excellence of Army athletics.”

The 15,000-square-foot-facility will feature two floors nestled in the northeast corner of historic Michie Stadium. The first floor contains locker rooms for Army West Point’s men’s and women’s lacrosse teams in addition to equipment and athletic training rooms, and coaches’ locker rooms. While the equipment room features a rolling rack storage system and laundry room, the training room includes six treatment tables, a physician’s office, ice machine and Grimm dual therapy pool.

Spacious team rooms that open prominently to the scenic second floor terrace overlooking the majestic stadium and a multi-purpose room highlights the building’s second floor.

“The FEN Center is a top level facility that will deliver the very best for the men’s and women’s lacrosse programs for years to come,” said men’s lacrosse head coach Joe Alberici. “The commitment to provide our cadet-athletes with this state of the art facility is a further testament to the importance athletics and in particular lacrosse plays in developing future leaders for our Army and the Nation.”

    Rich,

Our Lady of Lourdes Boy’s Lacrosse will be playing Eastchester at West Point on May 6. After we play, both teams are going to stay and watch Army Men’s Lacrosse take on Notre Dame. We are super excited for the experience.
