CHESTER BOYS OVERWHELM MONTICELLO

Hambletonians Finish Regular Season At 12-8

CHESTER – Chester Academy jumped out to a quick lead in the first quarter, used stifling defense in the second quarter to extend its advantage, and the Hambletonians beat Monticello, 68-51.

Chester finishes the regular season at 12-8 overall.

The hosts opened with a 20-11 first quarter against the Panthers and then held Monticello to just three points in the second quarter to take a 32-14 lead at the break.

Josh Delgado and Kevin Stein led the way, with a double-double and a near double-double. Delgado had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Chester; Stein had 13 points and nine boards.

Joe Battiato kicked in 11 points and Anthony Feliz had 10.
