Comets Defeat No. 4 Chester To Get Crack At Marlboro

GOSHEN – Rashaad Nurse had a big game Tuesday night, and the fifth-seeded Fallsburg High School boys basketball team went on the road to beat No. 4 Chester, 63-48, in a Section 9, Class B quarterfinal.

The Comets now get a crack at No. 1 Marlboro on Thursday in a semifinal matchup.

Nurse had a game-high 25 points for Fallsburg.

Teammate Brandon Blakney added 13 points, and Zen Arscott Nazir Jones each had 10 points.

Gianni Johnson led Chester with 14 points, Colby McFarlane chipped in with 10 and Kevin Stein had eight.
