Patriots Soccer Tops Visiting North Rockland

WICCOPEE – John Jay High School boys soccer is ready for rough and rugged league play.

The Patriots had goals from three different players and beat North Rockland, 3-1, in a non-league play.

Jay, the defending league champ, meets Mahopac on Monday to go for a second straight crown.

Senior Ray Troche opened up the scoring for the Patriots in the 18th minute on a direct kick from 20 yards out. Senior James Kane scored in the second half on an assist from Brian Fornelos in the 56th minute. And senior Alberto Molina scored in the 66th minute on an assist from sophmore Zach Rabadi.

The Patriots are 4-2 overall.
