JORDAN THE CATALYST IN RED HOOK WIN

Raiders Shut Out Ellenville In Field Hockey

ELLENVILLE – Bailey Jordan was all over the place on Thursday, leading the Red Hook High School field hockey team to a 5-0 victory over Ellenville in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League match.

The Raiders are 4-0. The Blue Devils dropped to 0-3.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jordan had a goal and three assists – feeding Danielle Walsh twice and Maddie Anderson once for tallies.

Ally McCrudden had an unassisted goal for Red Hook and teammate Lauren Rhynders assisted on Jordan’s goal.

“We set the pace of the game from the starting whistle. We worked hard in support of each other at both ends of the field,” Red Hook coach Cari Meltzer said. “Ally McCrudden demonstrated great vision on the field and continuously pushed the ball forward. Sydney Ottman, again, played strong in the back field supporting excellent efforts by Emma Siedsma and Emily Neese.”

Red Hook goalies Hannah Mercer and Zoe Christenson combined for the shutout.
