Boys Beat Webutuck, Will Take On Roscoe For Sectional Crown

LIVINGSTON MANOR – Allan Ward had a game-high 14 points and the No. 2 Livingston Manor High School boys basketball beat third-seeded Webutuck, 52-35, in a Section 9, Class D semifinal game.

The Wildcats will take on top-seeded Roscoe on Wednesday night at SUNY Sullivan at 7 p.m. for the title.

Ward also added six assists to go with his 14 points.

Juniper Brown and Josh Evans both had 12 points for Livingston Manor.

Webutuck, which had to travel two-plus hours and 115 miles for the game, had a 17-14 lead at halftime before the Wildcats found their groove offensively with a 38-point second half.

Thomas Stefanopoulos led the Warriors with 10 points, 15 rebounds and six blocked shots.
