Warriors Boys Lax Outscores Pirates In Fourth Quarter

PEARL RIVER – The defense buckled down in the fourth quarter for the Our Lady of Lourdes High School boys lacrosse team, and that was enough for the Warriors to rally for a 6-5 road win at Pearl River on Friday.

Lourdes outscored the Pirates 3-1 in the final quarter to improve to 4-3 overall.

Dillon Rispoli had two goals and one assist in the win. Joe Scaglione, Evan Mullaly, Adam Breault and Wes Keuhner all had a goal apiece, while Trever Arnone added two assists.

Andrew Bucher made five saves for the win.

“I thought we played good defense, and we won the majority of the faceoffs and that helped us,” OLL coach Gerry Walsh said. “And the last few games we had a lot of unforced turnovers and we cleaned that up.”
