Warriors Sweep Past Brewster

POUGHKEEPSIE – After winning a surprise league championship last year, the Our Lady of Lourdes High School girls tennis team has picked up where it left off.

The Warriors picked up their second win of the season in as many matches, sweeping past Brewster on Tuesday, 7-0, in a league match.

OLL dropped just seven total games in the seven matches.

No. 1 singles player Sophia Feigelson and No. 3 Carolyn Ogonowski both won their respective matches by a 6-0, 6-0 score. In between, Gabi Morris took her second singles match with a 6-2, 6-1 victory.

In the doubles matches, McKenna Weiss and Erin Carlini were 6-0, 6-2 winners at first doubles, while Cassie Burrows and Ana-Marisa Dimsko combined at second doubles for a 6-0, 6-0 win.

Adjara Icirton and Isabella Cho won their No. 3 doubles match with a 6-0, 6-1 score, and at fourth doubles Caroline Campbell and Gabby Guzman were 6-1, 6-0 winners.
