Victor Enoh Eligible To Play In 2020-21

POUGHKEEPSIE – What had been rumored for months became official on Wednesday.

Marist College men’s basketball head coach John Dunne has announced the addition of Victor Enoh, a 6-foot-7 transfer from the University of Memphis.

A native of Decatur, Georgia, Enoh played the last two seasons for the Tigers and will serve this year in residency in accordance with NCAA rules. He will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Red Foxes beginning with the 2020-21 season.

Enoh played in 45 games at Memphis from 2017-19. He grabbed a total of 67 rebounds, with 29 coming on the offensive end. Enoh played scholastically at Greenforest Christian Academy, where he helped lead his team to a state championship as a senior. That season, he averaged 7.2 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

“Victor is exactly what we were looking for,” Dunne said in a statement. “He’s an athletic big body, active rebounder, and he has a soft touch mid-range jumper. He brings toughness and great character to the program.”

Enoh is the seventh newcomer to join the program for the 2019-20 season:

Marist announced the addition of Braden Bell on May 30.

The Red Foxes announced the signings of Jack Cavanaugh, Henry Makeny, Tyler Sagl, Tyler Saint-Furcy, and Zion Tordoff on April 18.

Marist will also have the services of Michael Cubbage, Jordan Jones, and Matt Turner for the 2019-20 season. Cubbage, Jones, and Turner all red-shirted in 2018-19.

Dunne is heading into his second season with the Red Foxes, and 14th as a collegiate head coach, in 2019-20. Marist opens the upcoming season at VMI on Friday, Nov. 8, and will host Hartford in its home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
