Dukes Earn Overtime Road Victory In MHAL Play

HYDE PARK – Marlboro High School took advantage of some Roosevelt miscues in overtime, and the Iron Dukes beat the Presidents, 77-73, in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League boys basketball game.

CJ Faircloth led Marlboro with 21 points, while Korbyn Samuels added 16.

FDR’s Jake Londin, who sent the game into overtime with a driving layup with 10 seconds left, had 21 points including four three-pointers.

Dylan Craft had 16 points and eight rebounds, while Hunter Vansteenburgh and Justin Patsey both added 13 points.

“We had a couple of turnovers down the stretch but I can’t fault our kids’ effort,” Roosevelt coach Kevin Hart said. “Marlboro is a good team and a well-coached team.”
