MILLBROOK – Rebecca Quick registered a hat trick on Thursday, leading the Millbrook High School girls soccer team to a 4-0 Mid-Hudson Athletic League win over Dover.

Kaleigh Tompkins had the fourth goal for the Blazers. Sabrina Mongon and Elleeana Francia both had assists.

Millbrook outshot Dover, 15-1. Ella Wilson made the one save for the Blazers while Jamie Schiavone had eight saves for Dover.

“We are playing well defensively, Haley Kozera is anchoring a strong back line and is doing a great job of keeping us organized,” Millbrook coach Jerome Canzoneri said. “One of our goals for this season was to keep our opponents’ opportunities at goal to a minimum, and we have done a good job there.  This season we are doing a better job of creating scoring chances in several different ways.  I am happy with how we are progressing, We are a young team, we are young but we are learning quickly.”
