NESS’ BIG GAME LIFTS HIGHLAND BOYS

Huskies To Play For Seward Tourney Title

FLORIDA – Cameron Ness had a terrific all-around game on Friday night, helping the Highland High School boys basketball team to a 70-62 victory over James I. O’Neill in the first round of the John Guerra S.S. Seward Invitational.

It was the season opener for both teams.

The Huskies will play Port Jervis, a 61-52 winner over host Seward in the other semifinal, in Saturday’s title game at 7 p.m.

Ness had 23 points, 13 rebounds and four assists to lead Highland. Dylan Barry added 11 points andJohn Scalo had seven.

O’Neill was led by Darius Boben with a game-high 30 points.
