OLL GIRLS BACK TO .500 WITH BIG ROAD WIN

Soccer Team Shuts Out Hendrick Hudson

MONTROSE – Gabrielle Campilii was terrific in goal, three different players scored goals, and the Our Lady of Lourdes High School girls soccer notched a strong 3-0 road win at Hendrick Hudson on Wednesday.

The Warriors are now 2-0 in league play and 3-3 overall.

Campilii had nine saves to record the shutout. The goals were

scored by Isabella Burke, Hannah Apentang and Abigail Umhoefer.

Kayleigh Goebelbecker, Jackie Lehner and Jamie Druckenmiller all had assists.

“It was great to come away with a win on the road against a gritty Hen Hud team,” Lourdes coach Graham Fortunato said. “They are well coached and very organized defensively. We played hard for the full 80 minutes and we are very pleased with this result.”
