Warriors’ Defense Triggers The Victory

PEEKSKILL – This is how you do it when you need to shake off a heartbreaking loss and then go on the road the next week.

Our Lady of Lourdes High School put last week’s one-point loss behind them and ripped Walter Panas, 33-7, in a league game.

The Warriors are now 2-3 overall.

Jake Timm, Aiden Flynn, Zack Barber and Mario Hickey had big games on defense for OLL, triggering the victory. And the Warriors did the damage early as Joe Krauza opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 15-yard run followed by a Brandon Jorgensen 1-yard run.

Jorgensen also had a touchdown pass, and Patrick Holze and Angelo Salotto had 1-yard TD runs.

Barber had two interceptions that set up two touchdowns, and also had a 50-yard punt return that set up another score.

The Panthers did not score until the fourth quarter.
