Patriots Establish Themselves As Team To Beat In League

FREEDOM PLAINS – In the delayed, abbreviated, truncated high school season known as 2020, it took the John Jay boys soccer team exactly three games to establish itself as the one to beat in league play.

The Patriots strolled into Arlington on Saturday morning and beat the senior-laden Admirals on their home field, 3-1, improving to 3-0 after having previously beaten Mahopac and Ketcham.

Zach Rabadi broke a 1-1 tie late in the first half by converting a penalty kick, and then Connor Howe added an insurance goal for Jay in the second half.

Patriots keeper Ryan Herarty had several clutch saves to preserve the lead.
