Offensive Line Dominates In Victory

 

PINE PLAINS – Football is a game built in the trenches, and the Pine Plains\Rhineback High School football team offensive line consisting of Jason Michetti, Devon Hurst, Ryan Martin and

Dalton Burns controlled the game Wednesday afternoon.

Behind the blocking of those four lads, the Bombers rolled to a 28-6 victory over Onteora in an eight-man league matchup.

The play of Michetti, Hurst, Martin and Burns led to open holes and space for the team’s playmakers. Sebastian Burmester had 88 yards rushing along with two 2-point conversions.

Andrew Speedling added 63 yards rushing and a touchdown while Burns contributed 74 yards receiving including an 8-yard touchdown. Sid Stracher added an additional 58 yards and two touchdowns.

Pine Plains was not just offensively strong, but defensively strong as well, holding Onteora to just the one score. Hurst had a blocked punt, along with two sacks and six tackles. Burmester contributed with an additional six tackles, while Andrew

Speedling notched six tackles and an interception. Logan Lydon chipped in with a sack and four tackles.
