PORT JERVIS BREAKS THE ICE

Boys Soccer Team Wins First Game

PORT JERVIS – No. 1 is in the books.

Three different players scored on Wednesday as the Port Jervis High School boys soccer team won its first game of the season, beating Eldred by the score of 3-0.

The Raiders are now 1-6 overall.

    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Besim Restelica, Elijah Addy and Kyle Haight all scored for Port Jervis. Erick Morales and Tim Batzel assisted on two of the tallies, while Haight’s goal came on a penalty kick.

Zach Prundl made 10 saves for the Raiders to preserve the shutout.

Brandon Kopf had eight saves for the Yellow Jackets.
