RED HOOK GIRLS OVERPOWER HIGHLAND

Raiders Earn 9-0 MHAL Shutout

RED HOOK – The Red Hook High School girls soccer team has been making a habit of scoring goals so far this season.

Lots of ‘em.

Kelcie Horst got four of them on Tuesday, and the Raiders shut out Highland, 9-0, in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League matchup.

Red Hook is 3-0 overal.

Horst scored twice in each half to pace the offense. Ani Safaryan added three goals, and Grace Hennig and Samantha Riley had a goal each.

Leah Lipke had a pair of assists, while teammates Tessa Husted and Erika Ljutich had an assist apiece.

Morgan Tompkins and, Kaitlyn Krinitsky shared the shutout for the Raiders. Lea Schlosser made five saves for the Huskies.
