Huge Game For Brendan Murphy In Win Over White Plains

BREWSTER – Brendan Murphy had a historic game and the red-hot Carmel High School ice hockey team won again.

Murphy had three goals and five assists at Brewster Ice Arena on Friday, as the Rams beat White Plains, 8-5.

It was the ninth straight victory for Carmel, led by its sophomore star. Murphy became just the fourth player in program history with 100 career points.

Luke Golisano also had a terrific game with a hat trick and four assists. Chris Cieciura scored twice and also had four assists, and Gavin Golisano had a pair of assists.

Brendan Richardson stopped 25 shots to earn the victory in goal.
