Quarterback Rushes For Four Scores In Victory

DOVER PLAINS – Keegan Streimer picked up right where he left off last year when he led Tri-Valley High School football to the inaugural Section 9, eight-man league title.

Streimer scored four rushing touchdowns – two in the final three minutes – as the Bears rallied from six down to beat Dover, 34-26, in the season opener for both teams on Saturday.

Streimer ran 25 times for 256 yards in the game.

With his team trailing 26-20 late with three minutes remaining, he rushed 34 yards for the game-tying score as the two-point conversion failed. Moments later, after T-V got the ball back from the Dragons, Streimer did it again, ripping off a 56-yard run for the go-ahead score with 65 seconds left.

Nick Tangredi scored two touchdowns in a strong effort for Dover, while Thomas McDonald and Tyson DeStafano added a touchdown each.
