TRI-VALLEY HANDS PINE PLAINS FIRST LOSS

Three Teams Sit At 5-1 With One Regular-Season Game Left

GRAHAMSVILLE – With one regular-season game remaining, Tri-Valley High School just went and muddled the Eight-Man Football League.

By virtue of its 22-12 win over previously unbeaten Pine Plains on Saturday, the Bears, the Bombers and Pawling are all 5-1 overall and in the league, with Roscoe knocking on the door at 4-2.

And the round robin among those top three teams won’t make it any easier – T-V beat Pine Plains, Pine Plains beat Pawling, Pawling beat Tri-Valley.

Alex Schultz had another big game for the Bears against the Bombers, rushing for 97 yards on offense and making a team-high 11.5 tackles on defense. Keegan Streimer ran for 63 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and threw a 41-yard TD pass to Drew Hartman.

Andrew Holsopple had a rushing and throwing touchdown for Pine Plains. Evan Proper ran for 53 yards and had a game-high 15 tackles.
